Security Weaknesses Overview

Security Weaknesses is a feature in Cyber Safety designed to alert you to potential cybersecurity risks affecting your organization, such as vulnerable open ports exposed on the internet or leaked sign-in credentials found on the dark web.

How Security Weaknesses work:

1. Alerting you to potential weak points found

As part of Cyber Safety's Active Threat Monitoring* feature, we continuously scan your organization’s internet-facing digital assets—such as websites, servers, and cloud services—associated with your domain to identify potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities in order to prevent hackers from exploiting weaknesses in your digital infrastructure.

When Active Threat Monitoring identifies an issue, you'll receive a notification regarding a Security Weakness in Cyber Safety. The Security Weakness will detail the problem and provide clear steps to address the identified security concern.

2. Providing early warnings to leaked credentials on the Dark Web

Cyber Safety's Ransomware Prevention as a Service actively monitors the Dark Web for any leaked sign-in credentials associated with your organization that are actively exploited by cybercriminals.

When we detect such credentials, we take proactive steps to remove them from the Dark Web to prevent their use in cyberattacks. Additionally, we will alert you via Security Weaknesses to the exposed credentials in question so that you can change your password promptly.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding any Security Weakness, you can always contact your Cyber Concierge for assistance.
