What is the Cyber Maturity Report
The Cyber Maturity Report is generated from your answers to the Cyber Maturity Assessment. It is a point-in-time snapshot of your organization's cybersecurity posture and has a corresponding series of recommendations you can take action on based on your current state. The report can be used by your organization, and shared with cybersecurity experts, to understand and continuously improve on your cybersecurity practices over time. As your organization takes action to level-up, you can edit your responses to the questionnaire to get an updated report and new recommendations to further improve.
For an introduction on Cyber Maturity, see the Cyber Maturity Overview for more information and definitions of key terms.
Getting to the Report
From any page in Cyber Safety, click on Cyber Maturity in the navigation bar on the left to access your organization’s Cyber Maturity report. If you are currently working on the Cyber Maturity questionnaire, you can also click on the “See my level so far” button on the bottom of the question to jump to the report page.
Remember, you won’t be able to access your Cyber Maturity Report until you have answered at least one question in the assessment.

Element Levels and Recommendations
When you open the Cyber Maturity report page, you will see the 19 Element cards along with your organization’s current level for each. Each question from the assessment is represented by an Element on this screen. And your organization's current Level is represented as a number next to the Element name based on how you answered the question. Level 0 means you selected an answer that indicates your organization has not implemented or has inconsistent implementation of that Element. Level 5 means you selected an answer that indicates your organization is very mature in that Element.
The 19 Element Cards on the report are grouped by their corresponding Security Area. Click the name of the Security Area to jump to the introduction page for the Security Area.
To learn more about a particular Element, click the top of the Element Card to expand it. This will give you more details about the Element itself, your current Level, improvement recommendations, and immediate actions you can take to level up. The level up action recommendations can range from downloading content to distribute to your team, to analyzing and documenting your companies processes, or activating one of the other Cyber Safety modules. It all depends on the Element and your desired level.
For questions about the recommendation, taking action, or about the Element itself, Email Cyber Concierge or Schedule a Call With Cyber Concierge (included in your subscription). They can help you put together a cybersecurity improvement plan based on your report and help you prioritize the most important actions you can take with your budget.
Remember, not every organization needs to level up to 5 for every Element. However your organization should consider implementing basic measures for every Element.
Unanswered Element Questions
Elements which you have not answered the question for will not have a Cyber Maturity Level assigned to them. These will bubble up to the top of their respective sections in the report. And they will not have level-up recommendations when you expand the Element Card.

UNANSWERED QUESTION: EXPANDED CARD
Expanding the card will show a description of the element for you to learn more and it will ask you to answer the question first to determine your organization’s current level.
Recording Your Improvement
Once you have taken an action to level up one of the Cyber Maturity Elements, there are a couple things you should do.
First, congrats! You have lowered the cybersecurity risk for your organization, likely saving time, money and reputation in the long term. Every small step counts so be proud you are doing your employees and customers right. Have a small celebration, have a beer, or end the day early!
Second, you should update your Cyber Maturity for the Element. Simply navigate to the Element on your Cyber Maturity Report and click the “Update Response” button. This will bring you back to the assessment for that Element, and you can choose the new answer that most accurately represents your organization’s maturity for that Element. Saving your new response will update the Element Level, and you can see that along with an updated recommendation for the next level when you expand the Element card again.

Overall level and summary
Your organization’s Overall Cyber Maturity is displayed at the very top of the Cyber Maturity report. It is calculated based on your lowest individual element level. It’s calculated this way to represent that your organization is only as strong as its weakest link. To improve your organization’s Overall Cyber Maturity Level, slowly work on leveling-up each individual Element on that Level. Once every Element has reached the next Maturity Level, your Overall Maturity will automatically update as well.
