Compliance Training Courses

In addition to cybersecurity training, Cyber Safety offers the following regulatory / compliance courses.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

The California Consumer Privacy Act came into force on Jan 1. 2020, setting out new rules on consumer privacy within the state of California. This course will provide you with an overview of the CCPA, and best practices to help ensure compliance.

Data Classification

This course will provide you with an overview of Data Classification based on best practice guidelines.

GDPR

This course provides an introduction to the GDPR, covering the core terms and principles as well as best practices.

HIPAA

This course provides an overview of security and privacy compliance under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. Topics covered include protecting sensitive health information and how to report breaches according to HIPAA regulations.

PCI DSS

What is the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and how does it affect you and your organization? Learn the essentials of PCI DSS.

Protecting Payment Card Information

How do you protect payment card information - and why is it so important? Learn the essentials of keeping card details secure.

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)

This course gives an overview of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and provides you with best practices on record-keeping and data security.

Enrolling in Compliance Courses

To enroll your team member in these courses:

  1. Open the Training Module
  2. Click on the 'Team Member Enrollment' tab
  3. For the team member you wish to enroll, click on 'Add Training' under the Specialized Training column. To enroll or make changes for multiple trainees at once, check the trainees you wish to modify on the left most column and click on the 'Edit Specialized Training' button.
  4. Toggle the courses you wish to enroll them in. Click Update Enrollment to confirm in the next screen.

An enrollment email will be sent to the trainee within a few minutes. The enrollment in these courses will not affect their course assignments in the Cybersecurity Series.
